Stops on the Canadian Holiday Train on Sunday all had great crowds who were generous and enthusiastic in their welcome for CP, the Brothers Dube, Miss Emily and the decorated holiday train.
The Barrie crowd was excellent, with Mayor Linda Collins and the representatives from the local food banks on stage with the entertainers.
A special thanks to the great audience at MacTier who stayed with us through a bit of rain, and showed the true holiday spirit!
Parry Sound waited for the Holiday Train, and were loud and generous in their applause and appreciation. CP's pleasure to welcome Mayor Jaime McGarvey and food bank representative Gail MacDonald to the stage. At Shawanaga First Nation, Chief Wayne Phamajewon gave a gracious speech welcoming the community and all the neighbours to the Holiday Train stop.
Both Rutter and Sudbury crowds were vocal in their appreciation of the entertainment given by Miss Emily and the Brothers Dube, and Santa's dance with the band on stage was enjoyed by all.
Thanks to Cathy Moher and Dan Murphy for their organization and assistance for this part of the trip. We couldn't have done it without you!
