A few words from Pat the drummer

Wow!! So now I'm officially a bonafied Holiday Train rocker. 2007 was the first year that I hopped on board. Back then, the artists that I got to rock with were Melanie Doane and Wide Mouth Mason, whom I was drumming for...uh, filling in as best I could for their main man on the drums, Safwan Javed...plus long-time HT music director, and friend, Mike Norman.

Last year in 2008, I got called back, not by people, but by the train itself!!

Really!

It called me on my cell...I clearly remember the moment...the train said, "hey Pat Pat, we're going out again this year and we'd love nothing more for you to come out and help us keep the Holiday Train spirit alive by helping raise food, money and awareness for local foodbank in the communities along our line....what do you say??"

The HT was very helpful setting up a meeting with producer Randall Prescott. So in 2008, I played and traveled with Johnny Reid and Mike Norman -AGAIN!!

How could I refuse such an offer!?!

Now in 2009, I'm here with my own band, The Odds and can't imagine a better way to get into the Christmas Spirit. Every day, were rocking the Christmas Spirit in four to five communities along the way.

...Giving to everyone here is really the best way to get excited about Christmas -especially when your with your best friends playing your favorite music.
